Choosing the Right Treatment for You or Your Child

BRACES OR INVISALIGN? We have the right treatment for you!

At Seton Hill’s Center for Orthodontics, we always use the latest orthodontic appliances and technology to ensure that you receive the best care possible. Each patient is individually evaluated and carefully screened to determine which course of orthodontic treatment will yield the best results with the least discomfort. It is our goal to achieve ideal alignment of the teeth and jaws for proper function, your ideal bite and that perfect smile. We use fixed and removable appliances to get superior results, including conventional, ceramic and Invisalign braces. We also provide treatment for cleft lip and palate (CLP) and temporomandibular disorder (TMD/TMJ) / orofacial pain.

Conventional Braces

Conventional braces have been around for a long time. They are popular, move teeth quickly, and are usually the least expensive choice. Patients can choose the colors of the bands used around the brackets for a personal touch.

Self-Ligating Braces

Self-ligating braces look a lot like conventional braces, but require no elastic ties on the bracket and may reduce the number of orthodontic visits.

Ceramic Braces

Ceramic braces have the same size and shape as conventional braces. They differ in that they are clear or “tooth-colored” and are therefore less noticeable. Many adults or teens choose this option. While they move teeth quickly, they also tend to be a little more expensive than conventional braces.

Invisalign

Invisalign ProviderInvisalign is a clear removable alternative to conventional braces. The aligners are removable and are replaced every two weeks. They must be worn at all times except while eating or brushing. This choice is more expensive than conventional braces.
